Steady is the kind of horse who runs when in you call his name and drops into his halter. He has a curious character and loves his work as long as he doesn’t have to go fast. Showing as a Two year old longeliner gave him the experience he needed to prove himself a worthy candidate for a showring future. He has a spur stop, his gaits are slow and steady, and so is his temperament. Steady is still growing and should mature at 16 hands so we have taken it slow on his training but now he is ready to start showing under saddle wjth his partner. He won Top 5 at the ABRA World Show and a check in the 2YO LL Futurity. In the last year he has done a 10 mile cattle drive, sorted cows, crossed creeks and scaled mountains in addition to arena work.
