He’s tossed into a perfect jet black package with flawless conformation! Homeboy is stocky built, kind as they come and overall a super handy mount to have around while also being easy on the eyes!! Homeboy can go in any direction, whether you need a finished ranch horse, trail horse, or a horse to ride in the arena. He has been one of our most reliable horses on the ranch making him our go to horse when we need to go out and do a job or want to go out on a nice relaxing trail ride. Homeboy was used on a large cow calf operation in Wyoming tagging and sorting baby calves, along with working long days tending cattle in the feedlot before coming to us!This thick made gelding is smooth riding, making it fun and enjoyable to ride for anyone that swings a leg over him. Homeboy is one handed broke, making it easy for everyone to ride him. He guides off leg and hand pressure very well, making riding very easy. He’s a seasoned performer, mastering his leads flawlessly and boasting a fantastic stop that’s both responsive and comfortable.. Homeboy has been ridden in all types of terrain and is very sure footed in the rough country, rocks, mud, and going over logs. He is a seasoned, very safe, trail horse. You can get on him and go do any job on the ranch, saddle him up and go ride him like an old farm horse, or enjoy a nice relaxing Sunday afternoon ride. Homeboy has been ridden by a 16yr old boy and got along with him great!!! I love how trained he is but love even more how dedicated he is to go explore and enjoy any/everything you throw at him!
