Magneticat is an extremely fancy and exciting young stallion. He is a gorgeous red roan color with a lot of bone and size. He has a fantastic mind and he can move around on a cow as nice as any horse we have started. He is a big stopper with great quickness. This young stallion has a very promising future. Due to an injury while in training was not shown in the 2014 NRCHA Futurity. He was shown in 2016 earning over $11K by winning the Montana RCHA Derby, the Utah RCHA Novice Horse Derby and placing well in several other derbies.
Magneticat’s first limited foals hit the ground in 2014 and have great bone, good conformation, strong hips and tremendous athletic ability. In addition he throws a high percentage of color! They hit the show pen in 2017 and he has already sired a UCHA Non Pro Futurity Champion and URCHA Open and Non Pro Champion.
He is sired by Metallic Cat who is the hottest stallion in the cutting horse business. Metallic Cat was the 2010 NCHA Open Horse of the Year and has Lifetime earnings of $574,494.
Magneticat is the oldest foal out of the outstanding mare Wanda Rey. Wanda Rey has NCHA earnings of $90,000. She is a daughter of Dual Rey and is out of the great mare Stella Starlight who won the NCHA Non Pro Futurity and placed 5th in the NCHA Open Futurity in the same year. Stella Starlight won over $310,000 and has produced foals that have earned over $522,000.
