Bud is one of the coolest horses we've ever owned, both in looks and temperament. Hard to find, Brabant x Belgian bay roan gelding! Super friendly and respectful. He's 15.1 hh and still growing. He should top out around 15.2-15.3 hh. He really is as tall as he is wide. He has a great amount of experience for his age. In the fall of 2017, he was packed into the Montana high country. He's a phenomenal pack horse and very careful with his load. He has tons of common sense and isn't spooky. He had the winter off to grow more, was brought back into work spring 2018 and was ground driven and backed. He's amazing to ground drive and would be a fabulous driving horse. Under saddle, he's easy to ride and has an amazing rocking horse canter! Excellent brakes and great off seat, leg and voice aids. Also fabulous out on trails and around the ranch. Happy to lead or follow and goes through and over everything including bridges and water. Hop on and go no matter how long he's sat. He has a ton of try and is super smart! Really easy to train and a joy to work with. No buck/rear/bite/kick etc. He was a stallion prospect due to his excellent confirmation and easy going disposition. He has excellent, hard feet and has always been barefoot. Great with the vacuum cleaner, baths, vet and farrier (doesn't lean). Super easy to load and haul. No bad habits or vices. He is fun to ride bareback too! Amazing home is a must!!
