Horse Skills, Disciplines, Attributes
Penny is super smart, incredibly willing, forgiving and full of try. She has a great foundation in reining training, plus lots of extras.
She really walks out, has a soft jog, excellent extended trot, easy lope and is building a fast gallop to a stops. Her stops are good and getting better, plus she can really turn around. She sidepasses, sidepasses to a mounting block, backs arrow-straight, in a circle, or however you guide her - excellent hip and shoulder control. Changing leads in both directions, and has smooth, instantaneous transitions between gaits. She also does great on rough, mountain trails, and obstacles like teeter-totter bridge, gates, dragging a post or barrel, etc. She has also been roped off of.
Penny has great, tough feet, a full mane, and thick, full coontail. Should mature around 14.2 or 14.3 at about 1000 pounds.
She is quiet, but not dull - always alert. Should make a non-pro reiner, Ranch Riding horse, Cowboy dressage, cowboy mounted shooting prospect, or go any related direction. She has not been on cows, but has been exposed to them and watches them - calmly but intently. She thinks they are more interesting than I do.
Penny has exceptional ground manners. Can be shod standing loose, is easy to vet, worm, fly spray, lead, load, you name. No holes. She is UTD on vaccs, worming, shoeing, dental.
Like all our foals, Penny was raised on rough ground turned out with other horses. As a result, she is sure-footed and knows how to handle herself.
