Fancy Cherry, "Moon" is a beloved and very beautiful Tobiano Paint Mare. She has outstanding breeding: her Dam is Thoroughbred Jockey Club registered with many outstanding race horses such as Same Play. Her Sire, Classy Will is a Quarter Horse Paint out of My Macho Man (both of the Kruger Ranch) known for their athletic ability, versatility, and ridden and shown extensively in gaming and roping events. Moon has been ridden and trained at the Kruger ranch by Bob Johnson and also by Cliff Kelmer. Moon is very athletic and could easily be trained to compete in versatility classes or almost any other discipline. She is broke and trained to ride western. I have ridden Moon extensively recreationally in arenas working patterns as well as on and off trails in the mountains here around Coeurd'alene and up around Priest Lake, Idaho. Moon goes willingly up any trail and will step over logs and work through bushes and brush without issue. In the arena Moon has an amazing rocking horse lope that is so smooth and would make her a very flashy horse for a drill team or rodeo queen's horses. She moves with ease from a walk into a lope always on the correct lead. Moon has worked around cattle and was roped off of briefly a couple of years ago when she was trained at Cliff Kelmer's. She is built to and shows a lot of potential to excel at English or Cowboy dressage or hunt classes. Moon could also be bred and with her breeding would produce amazing foals. Moon has a willing sweet nature but she is also from racing Paint Jockey Club Thoroughbred breeding on her dams side so she has a lot of natural born athletic ability and endurance. I bought Moon as a 4 year old. Moon lives here on our small 10 1/2 acre hobby ranch with 3 other horses. None of these horses are pushy and they were all the lowest on the pecking order from herds where I bought them. They are not aggressive with other horses. Moon has been exposed a lot here to sheep, goats, dogs, kids, ducks and cars and off road vehicles. Moon has not been ridden by beginners. I suggest she be ridden by an intermediate rider or at least initially if by a beginner then in an arena setting with supervision due to her athleticism. I am only selling her due to the fact I had some serious medical issues and my daughter who also rides her is going to college soon. I am no longer able to ride Moon enough and I'd like to see her get more regular attention and riding, to reach her full potential. I will only consider selling her to a really good home with someone who really wants to spend time with her.
