A Pleasure Bar Time aka "Hank" is a 2008 15H APHA gelding. He is registered as a Sorrel Overo. He is a minimal white paint that has some roaning.

Hank is currently owned my a moderately unbalanced beginner adult pleasure rider who rides him walk/jog in a western saddle. He is 100% safe for her to ride.

His previous training included extensive western pleasure training, reining training, and trail (obstacles at shows). He was sold at the great american trail horse sale for $31K

As the trainer, I have been riding him for the last few weeks to tune him up to sell as she does not have time to ride him.

He rides english in a snaffle (walk/trot/canter, ground poles, will pop over cross rails) and is a very nice mover. He frames nicely, does leg yields, traverse, renvers, extends/collects, and half passes at the trot.

He rides western in a snaffle, bosal, or straight up in a bridle. He has nice stops, a slow turn around, and does slow rollbacks. He has a nice slow jog. With more fitness, he could certainly compete in reining or western pleasure.

Hank does not have trail experience and did not have a great time on his first ride out. He tends to look at things on the trail (but not spook), and doesn't like mud, creeks, or ditches. Not saying a confident rider couldn't work with him.. but right now, he is not being advertised for this purpose... unless you just consider riding around in your back field trail riding:)

In summer camp, the kids at the farm enjoyed trotting him around bareback in a halter. He is safe, flashy, and a fancy mover. He would excel as a hunter pleasure horse, western pleasure, dressage, or western dressage horse.

On the ground, he ties, cross ties, clips, and bathes.
