Watch the video to see all that he can do. If you love a smooth consistent gait, this is your boy. Trigger is absolutely automatic and will gait for anyone. He has a nice, easy slow walk when you want to ride with your non-gaited friends, but just ask and he'll move right into a lovely gait or a rocking chair canter. Moves off of your leg, stands still to mount. He will lead, follow or willingly ride alone. He will even leave the group if you want which is hard for any horse. He's good with dogs, bikes, tractors, traffic, strollers - you name it. Rides right along the busiest streets without a fuss. He crosses water and wooden bridges. He will pony another horse or he will be ponied. Carries saddle bags, take off your jacket from the saddle, ride with your dog. He loads easily, stands tied, good for the farrier. He has a beautiful dark color in winter and in spring and summer he's even darker. He has excellent ground manners and will never walk into you. We've had him camping, in large groups, and miles and miles of riding alone. If you're a gaiting connoisseur, you will appreciate his solid gait - he never feels light underneath you and he holds his gait without effort on the rider's part. He has plenty of go - you never need spurs, but he will slow down and ride on a loose rein if you want to amble. Ride him bareback in a halter, carry a flag , sort cattle - he's up for anything you'd like to do. Sweet personality, never fusses or complains, always likes to go out. He's the kind of horse you don't need to ride all of the time to keep him calm. No lunging just take him out and ride. He gets along well with other horses, not dominant, but he doesn't get picked on. Perfect age to become your lifetime trail buddy
