“Hooch” is a 14.1 hand bay, registered Missouri Foxtrotter gelding. If you are in the market for a smaller horse, “Hooch” may be exactly what you are looking for. We logged over 200 trail miles in the mountainous Mark Twain National Forest this past fall. “Hooch” led some of these rides, and is happy to ride in the middle or back of the pack. He’s been trail ridden by all levels of riders, from the inexperienced to veteran riders, as well as children. We’ve used the Clinton Anderson training methods with “Hooch” and he round pens, lunges, yields his hind quarters and four quarters, and performs the sending exercise. He easily loads and unloads, and backs out of any type of trailer. As seen in the video, he side passes over to you for easy mounting with just a snap of the finger, whether standing on a bucket, stump, or fence rail, mounting is easy and safe. “Hooch” is very sweet natured and lives to please his rider. He’s very safe and has a naturally calm, laid back personality. What he lacks in size, he makes up for with a big heart. We encourage you to visit us and take a trail ride on “Hooch”. He has consistently proven to be our go-to “Safe” horse for new and/or inexperienced riders. He is on an online auction at thehorsebay .com that will run through February 9th
