Princess is a 3yr old crossbred mare sired by a full Gypsy stud and out of a paint mare. This youngster is the PERFECT size standing at just 14.2hh and will probably finish maturing and filling out at 14.3. She has the extra bone and size that you would expect from a cross bred giving her durability and strength, yet not too heavy that she is still athletic and good on her feet, and very comfortable to ride.
Princess has had the very best start to her. Just over 4 months of training that has included ground work and all the basics under saddle to make her ready for whatever direction someone wants to take her. This mare will ride on a draped rein, or will collect up nicely, and has a solid neck rein. She is very soft and pliable in the face and sides, and rides great off your seat. She lopes right off on cue quiet and collected every time, doesn’t miss her leads, great side pass, turns around, and has a natural big stop to her with a lot of draw in her hocks. Level headed and willing, easy on your legs, never too forward, yet will never tire out your legs either. And everything you can do on her with a bridle on, you can do without a bridle on! She will drag logs, can have a tarp thrown all over her, is comfortable with a rope (although she has not roped the dummy or live cattle yet) and completely comfortable with the bull whip cracked on her. Her ears are always cued into her rider or handler, always willing, quiet and licking her lips.

Princess’s time under saddle has consisted of really good arena work and outside ride time as well. She is comfortable riding out in the fields, and by the roads. She is in an Amish home setting so has been exposed to and is comfortable with the buggies, horse drawn plows, lots of ponies, chickens, ducks, etc. She stalls 24/7 great, lives outside great, ties, cross ties, bathes, and is great for the farrier and vet. Impeccable ground manners, and has had extensive ground work done as well. She is 100% sound, no blemishes, clean legged, big solid good feet, and UTD on teeth and vetting. She requires no special care what so ever.
