Idalia is an extremely sweet, calm mare that has had 3 spectacular foals for us. Her dam is 17.1 and she passes on this size, her 3yr old filly is already over 17 hands and still growing. She is a big mover herself and has big ground covering gaits. She is not started under saddle but would be very easy if that is the route you wanted to go, she is handled daily, used to barn life, wears blankets in winter and is very good for the vet and farrier. She does not require sedation for vet work, is good in the breeding stocks. She loads and hauls quietly with her foals for checkups etc. She has the big correct movement that would make her very competitive in the dressage ring. She has never had any soundness or health issues. Has always taken with one dose of semen and has no issues foaling, and she is a great mom! Very easy going and gets along with everyone in a herd environment. She has ANCCE and IALHA papers.
