Unraced TB gelding, 2010, sound and barefoot. Flea bitten gray. Very fuzzy in the winter and needs a stall. Sleek in the summer.

Light, floating trot and a naturally balanced canter.
Beautiful and elegant way of going. Lovely head and open face. Kind eye. Rides in a rubber Mullen mouth bit. Soft and responsive to leg and rein. Easy enough to make an overweight, middle aged, amateur rider look half way decent.

Started late in life. An acquaintance pulled him from a kill pen several years ago. He was ridden by a professional for several months and has been lounging in a field at my place for three years. His biggest limit is that he has never been shown or been off the farm much, so he will get excited. But he will focus when asked.

Jett is a trail rider too. Familiar with cows, deer, dogs, cats, ponies, and goats. Goes through water and threads carefully through a messy woods. Walks over tarps and mattresses. Likes to go behind the leader on a trail ride but will lead when asked. Talks a lot when he has to go out alone. Although he appears haughty and demanding at feed time, he is near the bottom of the herd in his field of eleven. He will piaffe for the gray mares in his field. He turns to mush with neck scratches and can get goofy. Sometimes he expresses an opinion under saddle but he can quickly be coaxed around it. Just starting to work trot and canter poles and tiny jumps. Has a beautiful hunter type free jump.

Wonderful potential for dressage, hunter paces, hunters, or combined training. Jett would thrive with his own dedicated, permanent human. Please contact me if you think you may be a good match for this handsome guy.

Can send lots of pictures. I have a video but can only pm it on Facebook. Hopefully will have access to a computer soon to fix that. Located in Mansfield, Ohio.
