Emmy is a stunning, athletic, sweet, smart and affectionate mare. Warmblood looks and chrome accompanied by beautiful free movement and exceptional talent make this mare a true head turner. Emmy is coming back from an injury to her superficial digital flexor tendon. She injured it during an energetic turnout romp in December 2019 after new sand had been added to the jumping arena unbeknownst to us. We had hoped that she would make a full comeback following her Injury, as she was looking sound. However, a very recent ultrasound and some pain during flexions suggest that she may need to become a brood mare, which is heartbreaking. The vet indicated that with diligent rehab. and more time she may make a full comeback, but that his prognosis at this time is guarded. So, I am looking for someone who wants to add a beautiful and exceptionally well bred mare to an established breeding program. Emmy would cross well with Warmbloods, as she possesses Warmblood looks and movement, or she would add royal bloodlines to a TB breeding program. Her father, Giacomo, was a Kentucky Derby winner and her dam's sire, Tiznow, continues to be a very well regarded Hall of Fame Champion, Horse of the Year and Sire of Sires Thoroughbred stud. He is the leading link to the Man O War sire line and is considered one of the most reliable sires to produce thoroughbred quality. I will be very selective of Emmys placement. She seeks daily attention and love. She adores people. If you have a well run facility with quality daily care of broodmares, please contact me at 360 430-9323. SOLD. Congratulations to Susan on acquiring this lovely mare!!
