I am just starting the process of putting my personal OTTB up for sale. I've had 3 years with Benji and have put in a TON of training. We've done hunter jumpers (3.3'), dressage, trail, and lots of groundwork/natural horsemanship. Currently we're riding bareback and bitless. He is still a project, but has a very strong foundation and has good collection. He's incredibly smart and really could go anywhere with a soft, patient, confident rider. He needs to be in a program with consistent exercise and work. We have about ~1 year of jumping, didn't stop with me at jumps, has a motor, has some schooling show experience, dressage, trail. Jumping is not something we've been working on for a bit over a year. This was not my priority or my desire anymore. We've been playing on trails, riding bareback & bitless, dressage foundations. Benji is barefoot (used to have front shoes, we pulled them because he had discomfort - I have x-rays), has been barefoot almost a year and is awesome - great feet. I also have him on Redmond Stress Daily for gut maintenance and in the winter will support his gut further with Succeed. I also bring in a chiropractor for him to adjust every 3-4 months.
