Mouse is a 13.3 hand petite 26 year old 1/2 Welsh and 1/2 Arabian cross chestnut mare. She is a very sensible, patient, and level-headed medium pony, and she should be able do light work such as walk, trot, canter, and trails with the proper care. She is a kick-kick ride and safe for many different ages of young children. She has never bucked, reared, or bolted, and I doubt she ever will because of her mature age. She would also make an amazing companion pony as she loves other horses and gets along with everyone without a mean bone in her body.
Mouse is a roarer, which is condition she was probably born with. In some cases, roaring can get worse over time, but Mouse does not seem to have changed in the several years I've had her. This is the one flaw that has prevented her from entering the show ring. Conformationally, Mouse is very pretty and has a beautiful arch at her throat. She is a top of the line mover-big, floaty gaits. This is obviously not a top of the line hunter pony, however, she is the perfect kids pony!
I've owned Mouse for 12 years and she has never given me a problem. I've done many lessons with dead beginners on her through all the paces and I've ridden her myself for fun my entire life. She has had time off due to other projects coming and going constantly, but I can tell she craves love and attention.

The reason for trying to find her a forever home is not a fault of hers, but I am a college graduate moving out of state and need to find her a new home for my parent’s sake.
Mouse has had four teeth pulled due to her packing food in her cheeks, therefore, she cannot take a bit. She does not need one anyways as she works great in a hackamore! This does also require her to have a specialized diet. I just want to find this girl a great forever home where she will be loved for the rest of her life.
UTD on everything! Located in Towanda, IL and is free to the perfect home! Serious inquires only and please email me at "emmamerriman28@gmail.com" for photos/more information about this little lady!
