Clips, loads, will stand tied for days, bathes, no bad habits, easy to be around, no kick, no bite, mid pack in my herd of geldings and mares. Good feet, UTD on coggins, vaccines, & teeth. Trail rides in a group or solo. Runs barrels and is usually in 3/4D with much more speed to give, we have been working on correctness he hasn't been pushed and I would not consider him finished in barrels. He ranch sorts and pen ropes with limited time working on breakaway from the box. I am told he was once a super nice bulldogging/hazing horse and I have two videos of him that were passed along with him. He came out of Texas to the woman I bought him from. He’s very light, works off of leg and a light handed rider is best. I ride him in a snaffle, a hackamore, a perfect bit, or sliding gag with tie down or training fork depending on what our task is and he takes pretty well to anything as long as you stay out of his face. He is not a lovey in your pocket horse. He will not meet you at the gate but he’s not awful to catch. He is respectful and has excellent ground manners. He wants to work and will get prancy and excited when he knows that it is time to work. He’s not dangerous by any means and I have given some kids “pony rides” on him but I stress that he is not a “kids horse” unless they are quiet and a good hand. He’s as hardy/tough as they come. He has a big motor and a nice stop. He is broke nicely and moves off leg. He will spin on fore and hind quarters, side pass and is just around a very handy, sharp horse to ride.
