2010 bay tobiano APHA stallion, Good N Lazy. Jack is by leading sire, Lazy Loper, and by a top 10 NSBA world show western pleasure mare who is by leading sire, Macs Good N Pleny.
Jack is ready to be your next herd sire. He is 5 panel and OLW negative so safe to breed to your overo mares. He is homozgyous black and agouti, so will never produce a red based foal, and stands about 15 hh. He has had two years of consistent riding, but was never shown. Jack would need a refresher if you wanted to get him back under saddle, but wouldn't take long to get going again.
Jack has produced 46 registered offspring, with 5 being overo, 21 tobiano, 7 tovero and 13 solid. He has produced many point earners, futurity winners and stake winners. In 2020 with limited showing he was rated the 172nd leading APHA stallion out of 1000 stallions that produced performance point earning offspring. His offspring tend to be quiet, non-spooky, people orientated and good movers, with the majority excelling in the western disciplines. Jack throws a lot of minimal white offspring, and also produces some with rabicano and non-dun primitive markings.
Jack is sound and healthy and has no vices. He loads and travels well, is friendly and easy to catch, and lives in the winter months with his bred mares. He is non-aggressive and safe to work around. He breeds live cover, or is trained to collect with phantom or jump mare. The repro vets love him because he knows his job, is safe to collect, and his semen ships excellently. We currently have foals from coast to coast in Canada and the US, and would be glad to give you references to talk to their happy owners, or talk to our repro vet on how he is to collect.
Jack is a lovely mover, especially his lope, where he has a wonderful hock. He has natural rhythm and cadence, and his offspring have excelled in lunge line, in-hand trail, western pleasure, halter and even in Hunter under saddle. Contact me to see video of Jack under saddle and lunging.
