Luke (IAHLA registered name Forged in Fire SHR) is a 2016 S/P buckskin/greying gelding imported from Canada. He has 75% Lusitano 25% Andalusian bloodlines. Luke’s sire, Desrosi SCF (Lusitano/Andalusian) is a multiple Canadian national champion (2012-2017 PAAHL Canadian National Andalusian & Lusitano Show) in Working Equitation, Dressage Suitability, English and Western Pleasure, Trail and Halter. Luke’s grandsire, Xadrez do Pentagono, a Viega bred Lusitano imported from Brazil comes from impeccable bloodlines of Stef VA and Donaire (son of Quimono renowned bullfighting stallion from Brazil). Luke’s dam, Solo CI (Lusitano) was an imported mare bred by Cheval Iberique. She was a good natured broodmare, nice and compact and gentle as a lamb. Luke inherited their athleticism, intelligence and gentleness.

Luke has just started his riding career and he is excelling quickly with his training under saddle. He has a handful of rides under his belt consisting of walk, trot, canter, turn left/right and yielding laterally. He is soft and response in the bridle (snaffle bit) and progresses rapidly in learning new concepts. He has had extensive ground work training including desensitizing, driving and obstacle work. He is good with fly spray, loves getting baths and is comfortable with ropes around his legs. Luke has also started learning how to bow. He is athletic, agile and has plenty of pep in his step if you want it. Luke is a sweetheart and enjoys all the love and attention he can get!
