2015 AQHA & APHA grulla SW1/SW1 mare, WORLD SHOW TOP 5 COWHORSE & in foal to All Dun In Silver!
I could write 10 pages about this mare, starting from the purchase of both of her parents, with the intent to create this very horse but I will try to shorten things up :) Everyones first question when they see "Lilly" offered is WHY?? Well sometimes as a breeder you want to offer one of the nicest horses you have ever bred and raised. Lilly was a dream come true for me since the very moment Cricket gave birth to her and she has been a living dream ever since. But now it is time for her younger siblings to have the same shot at the show pen so Lilly will either become a broodmare here or she will go to a new home where she can still be used, shown and produce guaranteed splash white foals!! She's currently carrying her first foal, a guaranteed AQHA and APHA grulla splash white who could possibly be triple homozygous!!! For black, dun and cream.
Lilly was started by Rick Steed and spent 3 years in full training, doing everything from daily ranch work to the show pen. Gathering cattle in the swamps is nothing new for this mare! Roping calves at brandings, checking horses in the pasture, riding down the streets of town!! Rick gets them BROKE, BROKE!! In 2018 she went to her first APHA World Show and was Top 5 in the 3 year old Reined Cowhorse class. She has also been shown in ranch riding, ranch horse versatility and has been started out of the box as we planned on taking her to the World Show again this year in cowhorse, ranch riding and team roping but when COVID happened I decided to breed her. First we bred her to Smoking Sixcess, our own son of Colonels Smoking Gun, flushed that embryo successfully and I live covered her to All Dun In Silver and she took the first time. She is due late April of 2021.
Most of you already know that I sell the horses in my auctions without reserves but due to the amount of money we have in Lilly's training and show career she will be offered with reserve. When her reserve has been met this paragraph will be removed and I will write that her reserve has been met!
She is vet checked safe in foal and will come with a live foal guarantee. International shipping is available if needed and we work with Equiflight for overseas transport.
