In all of my searching for the perfect black draft mare "Raven" is hands down my favorite!! Photos do not do this girl justice! She is THICK, THICK!! And every bit of 16.3 hands with great bone, feather and feet. She is everything you want to make incredible draft cross foals!! I really wanted to try that with Nic or Armani but I found Raven after the 2020 breeding season and thought about just breeding her this fall but my breeding vet is pretty much shut down until 2021 so I have made the tough decision to offer Raven to the public.
Raven is a very rare find and came from a great home who used her purely as a riding and lesson horse. She will stand tied, stand in cross ties, is not a fence or stall pusher and is ALWAYS easy to catch!! She loves people and has a heart of gold! She will load right up in our stock trailer with no hesitation, gets along great with other horses, does not need stocks, sedation or anything to trim her feet and she stands perfectly quiet in the medical stock for her breeding exams. I wanted to make sure she had a clean reproductive exam and she does.
