Rides out alone, crosses water, not bothered by traffic, loads and trailers well, great for baths, stands on crossties, great for clipping bridle path and face (ears need work!), stands for mounting. We took him to his first horse show a few weeks ago and he did great! A little nervous when we first got there but settled in quick and stood tied quietly to the trailer for the day. He is the type of horse that likes to go slow. He will be perfectly happy to walk all day but will step up into a running walk when asked. He would be perfect for the rider that just wants a safe, leisurely ride. He doesn't have to ridden 4-5 a week - just pull him out of the pasture and go. Perfect for the weekend rider!! great horse for a youth rider. He is blind in one eye, but it does not affect him at all under saddle.
