Meet Naseem Shahar! He is looking for a new partner on a free lease basis! He is a 10yr old Arabian gelding who has decided he wants a new job. He does not want to play in the dressage ring anymore. He likes anything that keeps his mind busy; conquering obstacles, walking down the road with a buddy, and working at liberty. Naseem is looking for a confident partner who will be as adventurous as he is and patient with his quirks. He has perfect ground manners and lives on a youth ranch, so he is used to equipment and children running around. However, an advanced rider is recommended as he is sensitive under saddle. He has worked with my therapy students on the ground in the round pen but he is not suitable for our students to use him in mounted sessions. Unfortunately, 90% of our students want to ride. He will come with his tack. He works well at the walk and the trot under saddle. Fusing hocks make him grumpy at the canter, but the Vet says once they are fully fused he will be sound for anything. He is a little rusty on his liberty work but I know he enjoyed that the most!
