She is wonderful to ride even on neighborhood trails with barking, jumping, and chasing dogs, bikes, kids jumping in pools, tree trimmers, busy streets, tunnels and the occasional coyote. She rarely spooks and any spook is really a look or a tiny crow hop. No buck, rear, bolt or spin. She had two foals before being started at age 7. She has been in full time training the last 2.5 years. My daughter has shown her dressage and she was regional novice champion for OCIEL. She is always in the blue ribbons at intro level and often in the blue ribbons at training level. She trailers like a dream and doesn’t need time to adjust to a new place. She has gone riding with the hounds with a local hunt club and will go over small jumps. She rides pony club. She is a good size for kids or adults. My daughter is now 5’7” and is a good height still for her. She is not lazy but perfectly forward and moves easily off leg and seat. No need to wear spurs. She is easy for the farrier and vet.
