Luci is a very sweet mare. She is broke to ride, I haven’t had her spook at all while riding her. She is cautious of new people, but with kindness and quality time she warms up quickly. She stands tied to be groomed and loves being brushed. Luci is gaited and very smooth trot, but really prefers just walking and takes some persuasion to gait up. Her walk is quick and you will never be left behind in a trail group. I’ve ridden her English for fun but think she is best as a trail horse. She is submissive in the herd and is most comfortable partnered with a dominant mare to give her the most confidence. No cribbing, barefoot all around, easy maintenance, grows thick winter coat/doesn’t require blanketing. For an older horse she has a lot of pep and life left in her! She’s curious and wants to be your best friend!
