- Slowly started with natural horsemanship methods at 4yrs and carefully brought along since, Darius has three beautiful basic gaits and has always been ridden to work over the back and accept contact while staying light in the bridle.
-Leg-yields, shoulder-ins, turns on haunches, halt and rein-back. Starting travers.
-Hacks out confidently alone or in group.
-Free-jumps & small fences under saddle.
-Excellent to bathe, groom, stand quietly in cross-ties, haul, etc. Wonderful in photoshoots... has modeled many times. :-)
-UTD on all shoeing, Coggins, vaccinations & deworm. No maintenance. No history of lameness or illness.
-Registration finalizing with the Friesian Sporthorse Association (FSA).
This young fellow has shown enough of his true talent to make a competent young rider or adult amateur very happy in their dressage focused future! Ridden in numerous clinics and in-barn schooling shows last year in-lieu of official shows (thanks, Covid), but so ready to get out there and strut his stuff in front of the judges! Would also be happy jumping small courses or simply trail riding with style. :-)
