Arab-Paint (unregistered) gelding, 19 years old, around 15 hh. Friendly guy looking for forever home with lots of space/pasture and a horse buddy or two. Currently barefoot, but may need shoes in the future due to thin soles. I have had him for 7 years, but I do not have the time anymore to put into consistent attention and handling, which is what he needs. He is a personable guy, likes attention and pets. Usually the middle or bottom of the totem pole in herd settings. I would prefer he have a large paddock home or pasture, and with another horse(s) or other critters. PLEASE NOTE: This horse is not for beginners. His ground manners need constant work. Buyer must be willing to keep up with his ground training. He is not mean; just stubborn and spoiled. The perfect match is paramount. RIDING: He has been ridden by me and a trainer in the past and behaved very well, however he came up lame with a *possible* bone spur diagnosed by Pioneer Equine. Actual source of lameness not found at the time. He is sound when not in work. Buyer could certainly try riding him again and pursue the potential lameness further if desired. I would ride him again if I had the time. I am charging $1,000 to avoid scammers.
