Guinness is a perfect horse for an aa rider looking for a lower-level dressage horse and a great trail riding buddy. Suitable for advanced beginner AA/JR riders and up. Beginner riders should keep him in program with trainer as he can get heavy without correction. Current owner is learning how to canter on him and he's got the mind of a schoolmaster. He's creative and smart so needs varying work. Great work ethic, easy keeper, good ground manners. Goes out alone or in groups, low in pecking order. He's playful and has a great sense of humor about pretty much everything. Forward thinking, sensitive and easy to sit. Assumes less is more when rider is unsteady or nervous. He bonds closely with people, truly a dog in a horse body. No vices. He requires maintenance to stay in training shape; Injections, adequan, chiro and massage are regulars now. Currently shod all around but has great feet and could go with just fronts if in less work. He's not a child's horse, or a jumper. He's too big for a very young rider, and he's not a fan of jumping anything higher than your ankles. Please contact Guinness' trainer at sdpdressage @ gmail . com (remove spaces) for more information on his current training level or to schedule a try out.
