Looking for the perfect lessor for my special boy “Sundance”. ON FARM PARTIAL LEASE ONLY in wonderful natural horsemanship stable in Boscowen NH. Sundance is a 10 yrs old, 14.2 hand appaloosa gelding and needs/wants to be ridden more than I’m able to, for I'm an older woman with physical limitations. He needs a confident but soft rider who knows how to provide him kind consistency. Farm is located in a natural horsemanship stable with a small indoor and large outdoor arena, round pen, and miles of riding trails directly accessible from the barn. Excellent trainers/instructors available on site. He rides English or western (but no neck rein) and although he's relatively small he has larger movement. Not spooky, enjoys learning and loves attention, a good, kind horse but can test his rider so not for beginner. He has been started/used for novice dressage, hunter/jumper and western pleasure in the past, will move off leg and walk, trot or canter. He is out of practice on canter however since I only walk/trot. I prefer him to be used only for flatwork, English/dressage/trail riding but occasional umping of no greater than 2’ is acceptable.
I love this boy and will be picky as to who can lease him, requiring references and a test ride prior to acceptance.
