He can climb on her in the pasture with a halter and lead rope. She also rides in a snaffle and in a side pull (bitless) and on a lose rein on the trail at the walk over logs, through water, up & down hills, whatever you ask! She's also been used for jumping in the arena and is very forward in the arena. She is not a plug! But very easy for my low intermediate riding husband to manage. She has impeccable ground manners- even for vet work. Her last Vax were in September and floating before that. She is barefoot with strong very correct feet. She is ridden western or bareback by my husband and I ride her very basic dressage. She also had a 45 day natural horsemanship refresher course with a previous owner right before we bought her last year. Besides an excellent trail horse I could see her in cowboy dressage, being bred, or other cowhorse types of events as well as low level jumping- cross country. Her temperment should be suitable for driving with proper training. We are moving that is the ONLY reason she is for sale. We were planning on breeding her to Lordalen this year before we knew we were moving and expect that would make more really nice fjords. His owner will let his booking fee transfer IF you breed to him this year. She is currently a maiden mare. Her life here consists of pasture turnout with our other mares (limited during the growing season), and nightly stall/paddock life. Her previous owner had her on pasture with a loafing shed setup with several other horses. AS she is a fjord (they can be pushy and try to get away with things in slow motion LOL) we recommend her for those with at least some horse experience or an experienced youth rider.
