Diamond is one of a kind. He was shown for years on a regional and world level at ApHC and open shows, earning multiple world/national, and regional placings and highpoints with both a youth and non-pro rider. He was shown in showmanship, western pleasure, horsemanship, trail, hunt seat, equitation, trail, and more. After we personally chose not to show anymore, Diamond became a lesson and therapy horse in a certified Equine Assisted Therapy Program, ridden by completely unexperienced youth or disabled individuals. Diamond is the go-to horse for any level of rider. No matter how inexperienced, he takes care of who is riding him but he also rises to the occasion. He is fully capable of being a competitive high level show horse, or just being a trail horse. He is a lot more woah than go, but is still plenty lively if you want him to be. Diamond can be pulled out of the pasture after a year and ride 100% fine, the same ride he gave a year prior. While he is a very well mannered guy, like any horse, he will thrive on consistency and regular work. Diamond is extremely special to our family, but we feel it is best for him to have a job and make another family happy. He has every button possible. I've pulled him out after a year, done a horsemanship pattern, then sorted cows 10 minutes later in a wind storm (literally.) This horse is the real deal. We take him out on trails (he does better with buddies), we've hauled him all across the country and he has seen and done it all. I could go on about how solid, versatile, and compatible he is for just about any rider. He would be great for an amateur wanting to get into riding and showing and rise to a higher level, or a youth that wants to do the same. Or, an individual that needs to build their confidence back with a horse that is 100% honest and EASY. This is your guy! The easiest keeping, low to zero maintenance horse that you can enjoy owning for many years to come. Videos available upon request. Contact pozzirachel@gmail.com or text 505-280-4213.
