Priced firm, but would consider trade/partial trade of another blue roan registered APHA or AQHA colt with plenty of chrome, so we have a stallion prospect that's not a sibling of our retained filly. Colt must NOT have a grey parent and should also have decent bloodlines. May also consider partial trade of a blue roan APHA or AQHA mare, the more chrome the better, with no grey parents.
Takoda is a bit behind on training due to my current health issues, but leads, Stands tied, will stand for fly spray when tied. Stands for the farrier. Working on everything else.
He's only available because we're very small and he's related to half of our mares. This colt is everything I've wanted in a blue roan stallion prospect and I'm really in no hurry to see him leave. He was produced to be a truly all around versatile Reining, ranch type prospect and we'd love to see him in a home where he'll be used and shown.
His sire is black tobiano that is homozygous black with sw1. His dam is blue roan with an overo gene, no grey parents top or bottom so he will stay blue roan and not grey out.
