Rose is a 15.3hh Appaloosa mare. She has started her second career as a hunter and has successfully competed at 4-H and IHJA shows. She has worked with professional hunter-jumper trainers and is currently in training and can be seen at the University of Findlay (OH) equestrian program. She has proven herself as a hard worker and consistently gives her best without overreacting to new challenges. Rose is a sensitive mare who would be suitable for a quiet beginner under a trainer’s guidance or intermediate level rider. She is jumping up to 2 feet and has a reliable w-t-c in both directions. She travels to shows well and settles in quickly in new environments. We have also taken her on short trail rides and 4-H fun days and she has been game to try everything we have thrown at her. She is good for vet and farrier. Loads and trailers easily. To the best of our knowledge, she is in her mid to late teens with years of work ahead of her.
