Robie is a 6 year old Arabian gelding who is reluctantly being offered for sale. He has so much potential, and it’s being wasted in my field. He wants to work and have a job and a routine!!! This is a really nice, personable, sweet guy who loves attention. He is the first to be caught and prefers the company of people over other horses and will leave his food to come over for scratches.

Robie is currently in training with an event rider as a tune up. He is a sensitive, soft ride, and he likes a rider who is confident but gentle, supportive with seat and leg. He is very balanced to ride and has a flashy trot and super comfortable canter. Robie has been lightly started over jumps and seems to enjoy new challenges. He has been ponied out on trail but has not yet been ridden out. He is suitable for an intermediate rider who takes regular lessons or an advanced rider. Understanding of the Arabian psyche is important!! I believe Robie has a lot of potential as a dressage horse.

Robie stands well for the vet, self loads on the trailer and trailers well alone or with friends. He has camped at a few endurance rides and stands tied well. No vices, no buck/bite/bolt/rear.

I would love to find him a person who will enjoy his personality as much as I have, and who has time to work him 3-5 days a week. I want him to get the chance to live up to his potential. He loves the hustle and bustle of a boarding facility and seems to enjoy his arena time. He would happily stand to be brushed all day if you would oblige him.
