Cat is 14 years old, he came from some long time clients of ours who have retired and needed to downsize, so the sold most of their horses. Cat was at a pleasure trainer to get broke and she had him about 8 months. Then from there Cat went to a rancher who rode him a lot on the ranch, and did well, the only trouble he had with him was he never got used to the cows. He does not have any show experience, he just never got into the opportunity with the previous owners. He can jump, and is good on trails. Would make a good competitive trail horse as he has really good stamina. Cat would be for an experienced rider only. Just because he is half thoroughbred and he has a lot of energy, not for the rider just starting or learning. We noticed him to be a bit based narrow, but I have ridden him a lot and it doesn't affect him. He is smooth to ride.
