Up for your consideration is our 2 yr old John mule (gelded) Boaz aka ‘Bo’. He’s as friendly as they come and always the first to say hello in the pasture. Would make a great petting farm addition as he loves attention. He should top out height around 13 hands. I’ve done a lot of work with him and he leads well, lifts his feet for the farrier, is super easy to catch, and likes water from what I can tell. He has a very even temperament and isn’t real spooky. He regularly checks the pasture out on his own looking out for predators (I assume as we have a pack of coyotes nearby) so I’d consider him a livestock protector as well. I’ve been working on basic saddling and other ground training hoping that he’ll easily take to riding or working as a pack mule when he’s finished growing but he's still getting use to it. We have it written into the contract that we’ll take him back at any point and offer terms to make sure he’s a good fit.
