Gorgeous 2008, 15.3hh Hanoverian mare (registered, branded, and approved for breeding), looking for the perfect partner. Only reluctantly available as we have too many youngsters needing training and Lily deserves her own partner and job. Lily has spent most of her life ridden by professionals, and the last eight years as a professional trainers primary partner. She’s done everything from competing in jumping, dressage, eventing, and countless trail miles including overnight camping trips in the wilderness. Lily has a remarkable work ethic and nothing makes her happier than getting to do ‘all the things’. She enjoys dressage, and is trained through second level plus changes, loves to jump, and is brave and confident on the trails with traffic, wildlife, river crossings and riding out alone or with a group. Not spooky or barn sour, and has no history of bucking, rearing or bolting. She will walk for miles on the trail with a long neck and a loose rein. However, as one would expect given her showjumping bloodlines, she is a hotblooded lady and has more go than whoa. Light and sensitive, and soft in the hand, her ideal partner is one who understands how to whisper their aids. Her answer to every request is an enthusiastic 'yes'. She self-loads, trailers well, is perfect for the vet and farrier, and is sound barefoot unless you’re doing a lot of rocky trails in which case she’s perfect for hot or cold shoes. She's exceptionally gorgeous and turns heads in any environment. She’s so much fun, and always game for the next adventure! Lily bonds very strongly to her person and comes running in from the pasture when called. Loves scratches as much as she does cookies. Highly intelligent and responsive- Lily will halt from an exhale and will change leads from a change of seat. She’s not suitable for a beginner simply because of her sensitivity and joie de vivre. Her training has never included any gadgets like draw-reins or martingales, and she rides bareback in a halter on the trails. Lily is a proven producer, being bred AI one time to Donarweiss GGF and producing the beautiful 2021 filly Darlynka, who won top futurity filly at the American Hanoverian Society Inspection in Colorado in 2022. While Lily had a few years largely off to carry and raise her filly, she’s been enjoying being ridden as often as time permits since last summer. She is functionally sound for everything except a serious jumping career, as she does have some arthritis in her hocks which is being maintained with only annual adequan injections. Due to this her price has been dramatically reduced to the right partner. Lily would love her own person who will take the time to build relationship with her, and who also isn’t afraid to leave the arena and try new things. She would excel at continuing dressage and trail riding, working equitation, and occasionally popping over a few fences. Priced to sell.
