Toby is a very sweet horse and extremely easy to work with. Sadly, I have to part with him. Unfortunately, he has had two bad trips to his knees when I was riding him and on the second one I was unable to stay on. I was hurt and have recovered but I do not have the confidence to ever ride him again. I did have the vet and farrier check him and they could not find any reason for his falls. He does not trip out in the field and does not seem to be lame. I feel confident that someone could get to the bottom of the reason for his tripping, but I am not able to do so. I will not be able to let anyone ride him due to liability and you will have to sign a document saying you are aware of his history of tripping. He will be going to the home of my choice that I feel is best for him. I do require an in person visit and I will be checking references.
