Darwin is a coming 3 year old grade gelding. He has a more delicate build to him but very sturdy and should mature over 14hh. He is very flashy with lots of chrome and some rubicano marks on his croup and flanks. He can be pastured or stalled and does well alone or in a herd setting. Darwin has been exposed to just about anything I could think of, guns, chickens, tractors, crazy toddlers, dogs, goats, pigs and more. He has worn a fly mask, blanket, been sprayed with fly spray and given a bath. He loads in the trailer alone or with a buddy. He knows how to be led properly, back and halt. He has decent manners for the farrier but can be a little bit squirrley at first. He has just spent 30 days being trained working on lounging, backing, and object desensitization. His trainer has nothing but great things to say about him He is currently eating grass and alfalfa. He can be a turd to catch in the big field when it's not done consistently. Happy to answer any other questions. I rescued this boy as an orphan from the eugene livestock auction and want to make sure he ends up in the best home possible. He is UTD on vaccines, deworming and hoof care.
