Ana is a 16yo, ~14.2hh registered Haflinger mare. Beautiful mane and tail. Very easy keeper ! Lots of chrome and eye candy wherever you take her. She’s got a very sweet in your pocket type of personality. She actually would like to crawl inside of your pockets if you happen to have a cookie or two in there.
She’s got a very stocky build, very round (feels like your sitting on a couch) but don’t let it fool you because this girl likes to work and loves to please. She’s been Method trained by an official Clinton Anderson Method instructor for 6 weeks. Halters, ties, does all the ground work, w/t/c , change of direction, backing up, disengage front feet/ hind feet etc., stands for the farrier, bathes, has gone through all the preparation training to be a cart horse just has never been hooked up.
She’s mostly been used for trail rides and beginners lessons. Primarily at a walk due to slight arthritis in her front feet. She’s been successfully managed on supplements and a very low dose of Previcox.
Barefoot - wears Trail Boots when being ridden to offer protection and comfort. She’s easy if all aids - generally more whoa than go - however if you ask her to work she’ll work- she’s not a dead minded horse. She loves having a job and execute at it.
Goes out on the trail by herself or in a group. No spook buck or rear. Her go to insecure response if anything ever throws her off is to stop and stare at it for a second before she moves on.
Herd behavior : In a mixed herd shell bond with a gelding and do as he says - if there’s mostly other mares around she’ll try and get into the leading position.
Due to her nice pedigree she also shows potential to be an amazing broodmare.
