Sasha is a 15 year old papered Andalusian. Sasha is a proven broodmare, she also has dressage/Charro training, and impeccable desensitization, only thing she doesn’t tolerate-well are balloons.
She’s ridden down country roads, passing cars, ATV’s and dogs with no problem.
She would make a good husband horse, weekend rider horse, or daily training, she has lots of energy but is not dumb with how she uses it.
I’ve consistently ridden her twice a week for months or left her sitting for a month at a time, she could do more or less and be the same horse.
I’m a mare person and I can honestly say Sasha is the closest personality-wise to a gelding in the saddle I’ve ever known, no buck, kick, bolt, rear and not “mareish” while in heat.
She is sound with low maintenance, doesn’t wear shoes and is the old Baroque style Andalusian with thick bones, big hooves, and stocky build.
She is a beautiful horse that even my farrier has said “you need to be seen on a horse like this at least once in your life.”
Being white/grey she obviously bathes, but has a few quirks. One she doesn’t like the noise from fly spray and hoses that make the same spray noise. She’s not dangerous just uncomfortable and used to quiver from fear.
The last thing is she’s “cinchy” until she trusts you. She has a forgiving nature but when you are a new person saddling her up she can be intimidating but as long as you create trust and don’t pinch her with the girth/cinch she soon won’t be guarded and will act as if she never was “cinchy.”
So three quirks and lots of love, this horse is purely a joy to be around, if you want something reliable, trustworthy, beautiful, and sweet, here she is!
Sasha absolutely has no buck, kick, bite, bolt, rear, pull, behaviors. Leave her standing all day, she’ll only miss you. She loves people and loves her partner most.
