“Seamus” is a very quiet 3yo gelding who I started last summer. I am getting married soon and no longer have time for him. He was started with extensive ground work last June and I rode him lightly maybe 4 or 5 times a month until late winter/early spring when he had a few months off. In the last 3 or 4 months I started riding him more consistently. He was very easy to start, no bucking, rearing, or bolting and he very rarely spooks. He can walk, trot, and canter both directions and almost always picks up the correct lead. He is also doing well collecting his head and carries himself properly. If you’re looking for a future show horse he could go English or western, he’s been ridden both. I’ve done some trail riding and ridden him at the beach a few times and he was great, even got in the water. He’s fine with deer, wild turkeys, dogs, goats, chickens, loud trucks, RTVs, ATVs, etc. He does well in a pasture and has gotten along with all other horses he’s been in contact with, or in a stall as long as he has consistent exercise or daily turnout. I have tons of videos and pictures so if you’re interested send me a text or email and I’ll send them all including a picture of his papers.
