We have reduced the price on Sox, so he is sold as a leadline pony. We would really like him to go to a younger child who can grow with him, and all of his wonderful capabilities. As opposed to a child, who is ready for a pony to ride on their own already. Sox is a sweet, gentle boy and really a great choice for anyone looking for an experienced kid pony. My daughter has taken him to shows and the trails. He has no problem being ponied by a bigger horse until your little one is ready to take the reins on their own. He is a super easy keeper and excellent with the vet, shoer, loading/hauling and tie/crossties. You can climb on him bareback with a lead rope and he’ll just hang out with you all day. He is missing one eye, but it does not affect him in any way. He is not spooky at all. We have never had a single issue with him. My daughter would love to keep him, but she has moved on to a bigger horse and has gotten used to the longer gait. This makes Sox feels a little more choppy to her now. He’s just not getting the attention he used to from her. I’m sure he enjoys the time off, but he is such a wonderful pony it would be a shame for him to just become a lawn ornament.
