Taught to lie down as a yearling, & making gains in his under saddle work, Trooper is naturally chill in his character. We trained his mom and his dad, and they are both currently ridden by 9 year old children, participating in youth programs. As can be seen from the video & pics, Trooper accompanied his mom teaching lessons when only a few weeks old. He has been part of our family, & Duke, his father, is also pictured in a Spotlight add, super talented, kind. Trooper continues to have his Parelli education with the games, flexing, getting in the trailer often to go to different pastures, shows, & of course swimming. He willingly enters water. He accepts the bit great, no chomping. He hasn't cantered under saddle yet, but we are headed there. He is a total friend to children, in your pocket, and seeks out humans, even over grazing w/ herd mates. He's super safe and trustworthy around his hind end. trooper is ready for his Forever Family or to be someone's project to finish. He would be a fun Pony Club or 4-H mount.
