Impressively Handsome--known as Junior--was the well-used final partner of a local legend. Junior's owner has passed, but this horse has miles yet to go and a lot to teach his next partner. Junior was ridden extensively in the mountains, leads pack strings, and was roped off of. He also seems to have some high level dressage skills from a previous life. Junior does need an upper level rider to perform these jobs, but is capable. He generally has solid ground manners, hauls well, and easy on fences. I have been riding him steadily for the past few months. He is a motivated, honest mover. His Achilles heel is that he bonds hard and fast to his pasture mate. I do ride him alone, but he needs a confident, calm rider to go out solo. At 21, he is still breathtakingly beautiful. He is sound. You won't have him forever, but the years Junior has left are golden. Don't miss this opportunity to build confidence with an athletic, willing older partner who still has a lot of life left in his feet. He is not a beginner horse, too much training and too much Thoroughbred for that, but he is a joy to be with and is an incredible find for the right person.
