Really easy in the bridle and smooth as could be. Three lovely gaits. Schooling second level dressage. Has an amazing piaffe and has started changes and pirouettes. Very easy lateral work. Trailered him to the beach and he did great. Not spooky about construction/noise/dogs/wind etc. Hacks nicely around the trails on our property and over small crossrails. I think he would love working equitation. Not hot but nicely responsive to leg seat and hand. BUT I will sell him only to a strong rider and handler who is a very experienced horse person/trainer. This guy is a super smart fun and talented horse that was a stallion until December 2021. Before that nothing good happened to him and he has mental scars from that. He is now sweet and kind with good manners. He can still have occasional anxiety in his stall. Perfect in the cross ties (doesn’t care about mares). Under saddle he’s very easily managed. Can have a spook but it’s rare and he just needs a confident hand to send him on. Very sound and healthy with recent X-rays. Nice solid bone and big feet.
