Blackwing Picture’s Up aka Jonesy (Wildwych Wily Casanova aka Sly x *Glenormiston Clemma by Castle Baron), grey from bay purebred Connemara colt, to mature 14.1-14.3h. Jonesy is a bright, inquisitive, cheeky boy who aims to lead a life of adventure and thrills. He loves to gallop, is bold, brave, and always up for a challenge. He’s quick and catty with his front end and powerful with his hind end. He can sit and shorten and pat the ground with ease. He is cheeky and humorous with all the fun pony ‘tude in the world. Jonesy, named after the horse character played by his sire and brother in Interview With The Vampire, is looking for someone who wants to explore, learn new things, go exciting places, and jump LOTS of jumps. He’s going to be one that hops on the trailer every single chance he can, always ready for the next challenge, the next fun place, and the next game to play. He’s very athletic, highly trainable, and with just enough mischievousness to make life fun. His sire, Wildwych Wily Casanova aka Sly (Bunowen Castle Ri x *Rudgeway Silver Filigree by Oxenholm Matador) is a performance pony extraordinaire. Sly has won numerous year end championships at the 1.0 to 1.10m level. Between 2017 and 2019 he was Champion or Reserve at every single show, schooling and A shows, that offered the high schooling/1.0m-1.10m division. He’s done hunter/jumper, dressage, and eventing clinics with rave reviews by clinicians such as Sinead Halpin, Tik Maynard, Leif Sorensen, and Buddy Brown. Sly also drives and has pulled carts, carriages, and even hearses both for fun/experience and on screen for tv shows and movies. Sly can, and is, ridden and handled by all ages and all levels of riders/drivers. He is willing, kind, forward without being crazy, has a super jump (jumped to 1.35m), and three very good, correct gaits. Clemma, Jonesy’s dam, is a kind, tolerant, and easy going girl who produces the cutest foals with the largest personalities. She’s a lovely mover with beautiful Connemara type, is substantial, with good bone, and a super cute jump. She comes from a long line of versatile performance ponies- ponies that ride, drive, and show in hand. Ponies that are successful jumpers, eventers, and dressage ponies. And most of all, ponies that make the very best friends.
