Casey is a serious UNICORN! He is tall! Over 16hh, he's the perfect husband horse. Casey was handled and extensively worked with from 4.5 months old until now, just over 5 years old, this guy is the epitome of steady Eddy! He has been to many fun riding clinics, has explored all over the VA trails, took lessons with the incredible Joe London to teach balance and collection, did a number of fun riding games both in and out of the arena. He has been ridden regularly since he was broke to ride, and was always the first one everyone fell in love with at the barn. At 3 years old, people always admired how gentle, patient, smart and trusty Casey was. He's only gotten better over the years, and this guy is darn near as bomb-proof as you can be! He does well with new kinds of stimulation, always goes into every situation with a level-head, trust in his rider, and Casey is the guy you know you will always have a good, safe, fun ride! Casey will square up and stand at a mounting block, without rushing or moving off, he is always waiting your cues. He's not lazy or hard to move, and he's not sensitive and overly forward. He is the right kind of perfect. You can move him out and go if you want, or you can set a new rider and child on his back and know he'll be soft, steady and slow for them. He's that all-around, adaptable guy!
Casey is like a big Golden Retriever puppy. He is gentle, kind, willing, and he never puts a step out of place.
