Arroyo was born in captivity, a few days after her dam was rounded up from the Yakama Reservation in WA in July 2018 (foaled 7/8/18). We also have her dam onsite. She is now 4 years old and ready to go in any direction. She has great ground manners, great for farrier and vet. Loads, bathes, good with spray, fly masks, and blankets. She’s currently 14.3hh but still growing. I expect her to fill out a bit more, and perhaps gain another inch or so on her height. She’s 900# and gaining. She is an alpha mare. She is pushy with the geldings and stands her ground with the other mares but is good in the herd. She’s more assertive than laid back and needs a confident handler. She’s a thinker and picks things up quickly. She will make a great trail horse but also excel in arena work. She’s had extensive ground training, including round pen and lounging. We’ve begun training under saddle. She’s been saddled. (She’s about 4 months behind Chagall in training). We will continue to train her to ride until she’s sold. Her price will increase with training milestones. Due to her inexperience, she will need a strong intermediate with a trainer, or an advanced rider with experience with green horses. Registerable with National Indian Horse Registry. She is sold under contract which prohibits breeding her. We will not sell to a gaming home. More pics available on our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/wyndoverfarmwa/photos under the MUSTANG MISSION photo folder.
