Loki is looking for a new riding partner and ready to hit the trails. He will pack your beverages and snacks anywhere you point him. His job this summer has been ponying a two year old filly on the trails around Montana. We've taken him to Red Lodge, Ennis, Virginia City (Poker Ride), Ah Nei and Tom Miner. Loki has the heart to work, just not the speed. He’s at his best when he’s out on the trail, enjoying the scenery. He loads, stands for the farrier, has been shod, is low maintenance and loves attention. He will even pose for selfies. He will stand tied, has camped overnight and was secured to a high line, has been stalled and is accustomed to being out on pasture 24/7. If you’re looking for color and personality… Loki is your guy! Registration and coggins are current. He was fully vetted ( teeth floated, chiropractic, vaccinations, coggins & dewormed) in July 2022 at Montana Equine. Loki was my first colt so I have all of his vet records from birth to date, full history and will be hard to see him move on to his next partner. I am selling because he is not the best match for my significant other. He will follow along like a trail string horse for the most part but I do ride him with spurs when he’s not feeling confident and needs encouragement to move out. He has great ground manners, will work for you in the round pen and arena. We also have been working on turning on the forehand and hind end.
