Chip is a super cool pony! I would keep him I could afford to, but he taught me a lot and its time for him to teach someone else or be someones steady fun show pony.
He gets good dressage scores and loves to jump. Show jumping is his favorite and he would make a great hunter/jumper. He has experience through BN eventing however he really hates banks and ditches. He is solid for showing Starter and BN without ditches and schooling BN and Novice or he could do 2'6" - 3' hunters or jumpers. Would need practice on changes for hunters.
He trail rides alone or in group on the buckle. Not a spooky guy. very safe kick ride. has been used as a beginner's lesson horse. I have extra video of this. he could be a lesson horse in pony club or a program.
He can be pushy on the ground. He is much better than when i got him and just needs someone that wont let him get away with it. Little kids can ride him but would suggest adults help on ground.
He goes barefoot. has needed one injection to right hind fetlock recently, is sound! (xray available)
he does wear a cribbing collar at current barn but is not like most cribbers, doesnt need it outside or at shows or if there is nothing to easily crib on. collar will come with him though.
